The installation price depends on several main factors:
For an accurate and correct thermal panel installation price, an on-site inspection is needed to assess how long the installation will take, what auxiliary materials will be needed, whether machinery will be needed, and for how long the necessary materials and machinery, if needed.
- Area – the larger the area, the lower the unit installation price, and vice versa
- Panel length – longer panels are more difficult to install, are heavier, and installation takes more time. Sometimes longer panels require the use of a crane or aerial platform during installation
- Whether there are doors, windows and „breaks“ – sometimes the presence of additional openings, wall bevels, changes in roof slope, etc. requires each panel to be cut individually to provide the necessary openings.
- For such buildings, the experience of the structural engineer or architect is very important. All thermal panels have a standard width of one meter (1 m). If the design of the structure takes into account that the start and end of the openings are at 1 m, this means easy and fast installation.
- Height of the structure – tall structures require the use of a crane and an aerial platform.
- Location and accessibility – is there the possibility for a truck and crane to enter for unloading and installing the thermal panels.
- Foam or rock wool – rock wool thermal panels are heavier and more difficult to install
